The core function of any 2-way Radio system. PTT allows a single person to reach hundreds of users in groups with single button press. TASSTA supports PTT Group Call using high-speed IP networks and providing superb audio quality. Coverage is no longer an issue, and costs are reduced while performance goes up.
The TASSTA Individual Call feature allows users to communicate privately outside of a group. A one-to-one simplex call is easy and fast to setup. This feature provides private and secure user-to-user simplex voice communications with the press of a button. The users will rejoin their groups when the individual call is complete.
User priority and priority call
With TASSTA, users can be assigned a priority level. This allows a professional grade Command & Control network that ensures users of a higher priority can interrupt communications of a lower priority call. As a network administrator, you can decide how to setup your network and administer it to your SOP (Standard operating procedures), ensuring communications always get through.
Dynamic group call
At TASSTA, we understand that your network is never static. Incidents can arise from day-to-day that requires a flexible communication structure. While most days will always be the same, some may require a specific emergency response or “changing” network management approach. TASSTA Professional Grade Solutions put you in control. Dynamic Group Call allows your dispatcher to instantly reorganize group communications at a moments notice. Your dispatcher can re-group individuals or work teams (based on location or SOP) to deal with problems or emergencies at a moment's notice. Then, place them back to normal operation when the event is over. An extremely powerful tool.
The Emergency Call feature is designed to keep the T.FLEX user safe and in contact with help. It is designed for use in emergency or distress situations. The T.FLEX user initiates the emergency – from the display or a pre-programmed emergency button on the device. The activation of EMERGENCY will immediately send an ALARM (tones) to other users and the dispatcher alerting them of an EMERGENCY situation. The user is immediately granted a voice channel for hands fee communication. The Emergency stays in place until the event is rectified. If GPS is enabled, others will know the location of the person in distress.
The T.FLEX operator is able to access the microphone or camera of the desired user remotely. It might be very important for critical environments like security services or military where the person can be attacked or working in high-risk conditions.
Text and data exchange
An excellent integrated messaging and file transferring service allows to send/receive text messages and files in a group or individually.
The TASSTA status messages are optimised for the exchange of predefined status messages or user-defined messages. Predefined status messages provide the most efficient coding of user messages where possible. The T.FLEX users are able to send and receive status messages that are preconfigured in T.COMMANDER. Both point-to-point (individual messages) and point-to-multipoint (group messages) are supported.
Man down / Lone worker
The T.FLEX Mobile application has an automatic emergency option called MAN DOWN that uses the accelerometer on the mobile device to detect a fall and sends a text message alert to the emergency contact. The automated man down alerting has proven to be an effective way to make the workplace a safer and healthier place for all levels of employees.
The TASSTA Lone Worker is an emergency beacon in your employee’s pocket. Whether your lone workers are working in a remote or dangerous location or they are just temporarily away from their team, the TASSTA Lone Worker keeps you connected to your people.
Real-time exchange of free form text messages between individual users or groups. The user you have left your message for will get an immediate notification message (tone and icon). The messages are colour coded to indicate if they have been read. Offline users will receive their messages immediately when they reconnect to the network.
Voice recording and call history
The TASSTA System has unparalleled voice recording and call history capabilities, allowing users to recall a missed called or hear a message that may have been left while they were offline. TASSTA can maintain call records on the network for months of voice communication between all users. To see call details and replay records T.FLEX Mobile has a History Interface in the Main Menu. This feature is completely programmable within the T.COMMANDER, putting you 100% in control of the network.
GPS location and tracking
T.FLEX is integrated with the device (smartphone or tablet) GPS receiver. Tracking information from each user can be uploaded to the network (in real-time). Users can track themselves or other users on a map within their T.FLEX interface with an accuracy to the street / house number. This is a great way to maintain location awareness of team members and also be able to respond quickly in an emergency situation.
The T.FLEX has a very powerful feature that allows us to see user locations on the map. On the T.FLEX Map, you are able to see the TASSTA user’s locations in real-time with accuracy up to the street and house number. GPS data from each user can be retrieved from TASSTA server to draw the route in particular time frame.
Enterprise management and control (EMC)
With Enterprise Management and Control, the user has advanced capabilities for managing inventory, invoices, and tracking deliveries. The EMC system provides users with Issue Management capabilities. It includes manual and automated processing algorithms with real-time status update, user management & positioning, reporting and management information. We can even integrate into other TASSTA services, web clients, and external databases.
Local positioning system
The Local Positioning Systems (LPS) are an important complement and alternative to GPS. Unlike GPS, they do not provide global coverage but can be more accurate, efficient and adaptive to local environments like airports, metro stations, tunnels and other indoor areas.
