What are the requirements for the map to work?
- Port 4000 needs to be open
- Map needs to be enabled in the T.Commander server settings
- Map needs to be enabled in the T.Commander user settings
- Map Share Location needs to be enabled in the T.Commander user settings
Why does the GPS marker seem to jump to different locations?
The GPS position is not being tracked like in a navigation application. The position gets refreshed based on the set timer in the T.Commander settings. If the server does not receive an update in the set time frame, the GPS marker will jump back to its previous position. When the server does not get a new position within a timespan of two minutes, the marker will disappear from the map.
How do you activate the Lone Worker Protection?
The Lone Worker Protection needs to be enabled in the T.Commander server settings as well as in the T.Commander user settings. The Lone Worker settings have to be adjusted as required. On the T.Flex devices the Sensor Check needs to be passed for LWP to be active.
How do you create / delete Guard Tours?
Enable Guard Tours in the T.Commander user settings. Open the Map Tools in the T.Rodon client, click on the Pencil icon and choose Guard Tours. Set the checkpoints as required and finish the tour. Right-click on the Guard Tour and set the properties as needed.
To remove a Tour choose the Pencil icon and right click on the Guard Tour either on the map or in the Guard Tour menu.
Where do you update the TASSTA Products?
In our Homepage all TASSTA products are listed with the latest version. The release notes for these updates are shown on our Public Help Center.
How do you start an E2EE (End-to-End Encryption) with another user?
Open the T.Flex application. Log in with your original credentials.
When you have logged in, open the Navigation Drawer and select the item “E2EE”.
Enable PTT Encryption. Select an encryption key and a decryption key. Enter a key that you can understand.
If you want to start encrypted communication with a certain user, go to your “Users” tab.
Select the user with whom you want to start encrypted communication.
On the top bar. press the three dots and select “Share Key”.
The user with whom you want to communicate now receives a request from you whether he would like to accept the key. If he accepts the key, you can now start that encrypted communication with him.
How can I start a call request for the dispatcher as a T.Flex user?
In the T.Flex application, open the “My TASSTA” item in the navigation drawer. (Must have been activated in the T.Commander settings beforehand)
In the top bar, select the first item (Define items to add). Choose “Call Request”.
You can now see how the item appears in the My TASSTA interface. You now have the option to access the Call Request. To do this, keep the button pressed to send a connection request to the dispatcher. The dispatcher receives a notification and has the option of accepting or rejecting this request.
How do you connect Bluetooth devices to the T.Flex?
Activate Bluetooth on your T.Flex device and access the Bluetooth settings. Pair the Bluetooth device to your T.Flex device. Make sure that all settings are enabled for the BT device. Log in to the T.Flex application and open up the settings. Go to the “Preferred Bluetooth Device” option and choose the paired Bluetooth device.
How do I set up audio devices on T.Rodon?
Install all needed drivers for the device on your PC. Then go to the audio settings on your PC and set the device for the audio input and audio output. After that open up your T.Rodon client and go to the Audio/Video settings. Choose the device for “Sound output” and “Microphone”.
What are the requirements for Indoor Localization?
Android devices with Android 10 or higher are recommended.
At least three static Wi-Fi access points with a signal strength of -79 dBm or higher – The more Wi-Fi access points the better the result.
Furthermore, you need a MAC-address list of all static Wi-Fi access points and a floor plan of the required area.
What is MCGW?
The multi-communication gateway allows you to receive emergency notifications via SMS and E-Mail as well as on T.Rodon and T.Flex.
Is it possible to share the location of a user only in case of emergency but not in regular use?
Yes, this is possible. In order to avoid problems due to the data safety of all users, it is possible to hide the current location on the map of a user. In case the user causes an emergency the map will show his location with a red marker as long as the emergency is active. This is achieved with the “enforce privacy” feature.
Is there a limit to the number of bridge channels that can be used at the same time?
The limit is defined by the amount of T.Bridge licenses.
As long as the licenses are sufficient you can use as many T.Bridge channels as you need simultaneously.
What is the minimum firmware version required to use T.Flex on android devices?
5.1 or higher is required. We recommend using the latest firmware always.
Is it possible to provide the latest T.Rodon and T.Flex version to all users without manually installing them on every device?
The admin can update the devices with the “force install” feature on T.Commander.
This will install the uploaded version to all devices once they connect to the T.Lion.
How is the T.Bridge setup achieved? Starting from PMR to T.Flex/T.Rodon?
- The PMR devices need to be connected to the donor radio
- The donor radio needs to be connected to a Windows PC through the 3.5mm jacks for example
- On the T.Bridge PC, a T.Bridge needs to be installed. The type of T.Bridge software depends on the donor radio
- The T.Bridge will connect to the T.Lion from the T.Bridge PC
- Preferably on a different Windows PC T.Rodon needs to be installed and the PC needs to connect to the T.Lion
- The T.Flex devices need to be connected to the same T.Lion and port
What is T.Mugen?
T.Mugen is our web-based TASSTA client which provides some of the basic TASSTA features like:

What is the process of adding new languages to the TASSTA solution?
In case you want a new language supported with the TASSTA solution you need to create a ticket in our support system. A service engineer will provide you all the necessary details on how you can add the requested language to the system.
Is it possible to isolate users and teams within the TASSTA solutions?
Yes, this is possible.
You need to set up the teams on T.Commander which should be isolated from each other and from certain channels.
Afterward, you need to create rules which allow or deny the teams access to the allocated channels.
