Push-to-Talk (PTT)

Instant. Secure. Always on.

Push-to-Talk is at the core of mission-critical communication. One press of a button connects you to your team — a single person, a group, or an entire organisation — with no delays, no dialling, no dropped context.

TASSTA’s PTT works over any IP network, making it independent of legacy radio infrastructure while remaining fully interoperable with it. Whether your team operates in the field, on the road, or across multiple sites, communication stays clear and uninterrupted.

Group Call
Reach your entire team simultaneously at the press of a button. Every member receives the same message at the same moment — eliminating delays and miscommunication across teams, departments, or entire organisations.
Individual Call
A dedicated one-to-one voice channel for sensitive conversations, specific instructions, or confidential follow-ups — all within the same unified platform, without interrupting group communications.
Emergency Call
One trigger. Instant response. A single action broadcasts an urgent alert to all designated responders simultaneously, cutting through all other network traffic and activating coordinated emergency protocols without delay.
Priority Call
When it matters most, be heard first. Priority Call overrides standard call queues, ensuring time-critical transmissions are delivered and acknowledged immediately — no delays, no exceptions.
Talkgroup Scan
Automatically jump to the channel where communication is active and respond instantly via PTT — keeping you in the loop across multiple groups without manual switching.
Silent Mode
Mute specific users or groups on the operator side without restricting their ability to transmit — giving dispatchers full control over what they hear without disrupting field operations.

Works the way your team works

TASSTA PTT runs on smartphones, tablets, desktops, and web browsers – no dedicated hardware required. External PTT devices are fully supported: foot pedals, headsets, keyboard shortcuts, and USB microphones can all be configured to trigger PTT, adapting to the specific environment of each operator.

For organisations running legacy radio networks, TASSTA T.Bridge connects TASSTA PTT seamlessly with TETRA, DMR, P25, Analogue, SIP, UHF and VHF – extending the reach of your existing infrastructure without replacing.

Built for mission-critical environments

TASSTA PTT is deployed by organisations across public safety, emergency services, law enforcement, fire and rescue, transportation, airports, utilities, energy, and defence. TASSTA PTT is available through T.Flex, our mobile app for smartphones and tablets. Explore T.Flex

Push-to-Video (PTV)

See what your team sees. In real time

Push-to-Video extends the immediacy of PTT into live video. Press and hold the PTV button to transmit both video and audio instantly, giving your team visual situational awareness without switching to a separate app or platform

TASSTA PTV is fully integrated into the same ecosystem as PTT, messaging, and location, so teams gain eyes on the ground without adding operational complexity.

One-to-One PTV
A private video call between two users — direct, secure, and initiated with a single press.
Group PTV
One user transmits live video to multiple participants simultaneously. Floor-controlled, so communication stays structured even across large teams.
Conference PTV
Multiple users transmit video and audio at the same time with no floor control — enabling full situational awareness across the entire group in parallel.
Emergency Video
Video calls with emergency priority, ensuring critical visual information reaches responders immediately when it matters most.
Remote Video Capture
Operators can remotely trigger video capture on a field device — without requiring the field operative to initiate it manually.

Designed for operational clarity

Up to four live video feeds are displayed simultaneously on screen, automatically arranged based on the number of active participants with full screen, split view, or grid. Dispatchers can mute audio or hide video from individual participants without ending the call.

Text messaging is available during an active PTV call, so teams can exchange information without interrupting the video transmission.

All PTV calls are recorded and available for playback, supporting post-incident review, compliance, and operational debriefs.

Built for mission-critical environments

TASSTA PTV is deployed by organisations across public safety, emergency services, law enforcement, fire and rescue, transportation, airports, utilities, energy, and defence.

Messaging & Data exchange

Every message. Every format. Every situation.

TASSTA Messaging & Chat goes beyond simple text exchange. It is a fully integrated communication layer that runs alongside PTT and PTV, covering text, files, voice clips, video messages, and status updates within a single unified platform.

All messages and file transfers are end-to-end encrypted, ensuring communications stay secure across every channel and every device.

Text Messaging
Send private one-to-one messages or broadcast to an entire group instantly. Reply, quote, mention, and forward — all within the same conversation thread.
File Sharing
Share files, images, and videos privately or across groups. In emergency situations, files can be set to download automatically on the recipient’s device without requiring manual action.
Voice & Video Messages
Record and send voice or video clips directly from the chat interface — no need to initiate a call.
Status Messages
Preconfigured, colour-coded status updates created by administrators — allowing field personnel to report their situation instantly with a single tap, without typing.
Emergency Messaging
Priority channels with flagged urgency indicators ensure critical messages cut through regular traffic and reach the right people immediately.

Built for operational use

Message delivery receipts give senders full visibility — from sent, to delivered, to read, with per-user timestamps available on demand. Dispatchers can search across all messages, attachments, and GPS coordinates, and review full conversation history for any group or individual.

Ad hoc group chats can be created on the fly for temporary teams or incident-specific coordination, without changing permanent group structures.

Notifications are fully configurable: operators can set silent hours or mute specific groups and users without losing affiliation or missing urgent alerts.
