TASSTA relaunches its 3GPP mission-critical server as T.XON
TASSTA has renamed and rebuilt its 3GPP mission-critical (MCX) server. Until now known as T.Quasar, it continues as T.XON 11.0; the first releases, 11.4.1 and 11.5.0, shipped in September 2026.
The headline feature is site replication: a T.XON deployment can run across sites, and when one site goes down the talk groups keep running on the other. Release 11.4.1 carries 128 features across server, administration and recording.

- T.Star client for Android handsets;
- T.Galaxy dispatcher;
- T.Admin administration centre;
- T.Writer recording;
- T.Gravity gateway that brings TETRA, DMR and analogue radio fleets into the same talk groups.
The server is documented as open to other vendors’ MCX clients and ETSI-compliant user equipment.
For existing customers only the name changes: same versions, roadmap and support, and existing documentation links keep working.
“Buyers want a working system, not a set of parts they have to make work together,” said Kaveh Hosseinzadeh, Managing Director of TASSTA. “T.XON is the name of that system.”
